This means when you stay with us, you are staying with a hotel that understands successful business and sustainable development go hand in hand. We hold a responsibility to meet the economic, environmental and social needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future. Our goal is to minimise our environmental impact, while allowing guests to focus on enjoying their experience with us. We don’t ask guests to “be green”, we ask them to be guests, with the hotel working hard behind the scenes so they can experience ‘seamless sustainability’.

Recyclable bedding

At Swissôtel Sydney, we strive to make your stay more environmentally mindful through thoughtful, eco-conscious choices. Some of our bedding is crafted from recycled and reusable plastic bottles, helping us reduce waste while maintaining the comfort you deserve.

Skip the clean

Skip the Clean is a sustainability option for Accor Members that allows you to skip daily housekeeping if you don’t need it. And to say thank you for your choice, you will receive 100 ALL Accor Reward points for each day that you skip.

Rooftop beehives

We work with Sydney Bee Rescue, a group of NSW based beekeepers who are dedicated to the bee conservation and the rescue and relocation of bee colonies from places where they are at risk. Hosted on our rooftop are four beehives, with bees servicing the nearby Royal Botanic Gardens and supplying Ten Stories with freshly harvested honey.

Greenspace micro farm at Ten Stories Restaurant

We partner with Greenspace to bring the freshest herbs possible to our kitchen. Their produce is grown in an indoor macrofarm in the heart of Sydney CBD, using up to 95% less water and renewable energy. Once ready, the herbs are delivered to us still living and growing, and harvested by our chefs as needed — ensuring exceptional freshness, flavour and, most importantly, nutrition.

Organic waste recycling in Partnership with ORG

Collecting around 8,000 tonnes of food waste each year, ORG & Express Waste are committed to reducing the environmental impact of food waste. We are proud to be part of this journey with them, helping divert food waste from landfill and supporting a more sustainable future.
