Bondi Beach is Australia’s most famous beach, and understandably a must-see on every visitor’s bucket list.
The iconic Bondi neighborhood is located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and renowned for its bright sunshine, impressive coastal cliffs, crystal waters and white sand. But Bondi Beach offers so much more than that. From early morning coffee to relaxed brunches, to trendy dinner spots and lively bars, Bondi offers it all and within a close proximity.
Whether you want to join a surf class, swim at the infamous Icebergs pool or shop at the local markets, Bondi has something for everyone.
From Swissotel Sydney to Bondi Beach there are an array of transport options. Driving from Market Street to Bondi Beach would take approximately 20 minutes. However, due to the area’s popularity, parking can be limited. Instead, why not make the most of Swissotel Sydney’s prime CBD location and use Sydney’s reliable public transport options.
There are two alternative routes we suggest to the famous Bondi Beach from Swissotel Sydney:
1.Walk under 10 minutes to Hyde Park, Elizabeth Street where you can catch the Number 333 bus direct to Bondi Beach in approximately 30-40 minutes.
2.Walk to Town Hall train station and jump on the T4 line straight to Bondi Junction, which all together will take around 15 minutes. From here you can catch an array of buses (333/379/380) to the beach in just another 10 minutes.
