Responsible procurement

Skip the Clean is a sustainability option available to eligible ALL Accor members, allowing guests to choose not to receive daily housekeeping during their stay. Members receive 100 ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward points for each eligible day they participate.
Rooftop beehives
We work with
Sydney Bee Rescue, a NSW-based group of beekeepers involved in bee conservation and the rescue and relocation of bee colonies from locations where they are at risk. Four beehives are hosted on the rooftop of Swissôtel Sydney. The bees forage in the surrounding area, including nearby green spaces, and honey produced from the hives is used at Ten Stories.

Greenspace microfarm at Ten Stories Restaurant
We partner with
Greenspace to grow fresh herbs for Ten Stories Restaurant. The produce is grown in an indoor urban farm in Sydney CBD and delivered to the hotel while still living and growing. Our chefs harvest the herbs as needed, allowing them to be used fresh in the kitchen. Greenspace uses controlled growing systems designed to reduce water use and operates using renewable energy.

Organic waste recycling
We work with ORG and Express Waste to collect and process food waste from the hotel. This helps divert food waste from general waste streams and supports its processing through an alternative waste management system rather than sending it directly to landfill.

ORG.
Our sustainability initiatives continue to evolve as we review our hotel operations, suppliers and partnerships.
